Clothing Store
The client wanted to redesign the store based on the new brand they had developed, ‘True by Chemistry.’ The interiors needed to reflect the new range of clothing they designed. Timeless, natural and minimal. Our first interaction with the client was in their design studio in Mumbai where we spent the day with the design team. Watched how they worked, learnt about their brand and saw their new collection. Their new collection was the main inspiration for the design.
Our concept board for Chemistry was different than our other projects, inspired by the texture of their fabrics, movement of the clothing and understanding the true identity of each material.
It was interesting to work with fashion designers on this project. To start off with they gave us a concept board, this whole process felt like a collaboration – a space where fashion met interiors.
Using their concept board, we together derived to a concept with more geometric forms, monochromatic color scheme and a space that uses natural materials. The material must be true to what it is.
